Submission of portfolio in October 2022 (for Doctoral program)

Fill up your portfolio through consulting with your supervisor, and then submit it to meet the deadline.

This portfolio is for Advanced Engineering Course students (The portfolio for HSE is different).

Students newly enrolled in October 2022

  • Deadline: Tuesday, October 11, 2022, 17:00
  • Submission procedures:
  1. Download the portfolio form (Microsoft Word) from the following link: Portfolio_form_doctor202210
  2. Fill in pages 1-3 and then print it.
  3. Obtain the supervisor's and two sub-supervisors' signatures on page 3. Refer to item 7 below if you cannot obtain supervisors' signatures due to the coronavirus situation.
  4. Print out your class timetable on the course registration from KULASIS, and then obtain the supervisor's signature or seal on it.
  5. Scan pages 1-3 of the portfolio and the class timetable, then make one PDF file and send it as an attached file to the e-mail address below. If you are not able to apply for classes offered by other graduate schools and faculties through KULASIS, you must submit an application to the C-cluster Office. In this case, please add the application form signed by the supervisor to the PDF file to be submitted. The deadline for submitting the application (October 4) is earlier than the deadline for submitting the portfolio, so please scan the PDF file before submitting the application to the C-cluster office.
  6. Keep your original copy of the printed portfolio in a safe place. (Students must submit the original portfolio after the end of the 6th semester in the 3rd Year.)
  7. If you cannot obtain signatures from your supervisors directly because of the coronavirus situation, you can ask your supervisor to submit your portfolio with only the supervisor’s signature and with sub-supervisors’ names typed. However, all signatures are required when you submit the original portfolio at the end of your study period.

Students enrolled before April 2022

  • Deadline: Tuesday, October 11, 2022, 17:00
  • Submission procedures:
  1. Use the template of the portfolio you have already downloaded.
  2. Fill in designated pages for September 2022 and then print it (Write down your name on each page).
  3. Obtain the supervisor's and two sub-supervisors' signatures on the applicable page. Refer to item 7 below if you cannot obtain the supervisors' signatures due to the coronavirus situation.
  4. Print out your class timetable on the course registration from KULASIS, and then obtain supervisor's signature or seal on it.
  5. Scan the pertinent pages of the portfolio and the class timetable, then make one PDF file and send it as an attached file to the e-mail address below. If you are not able to apply for classes offered by other graduate schools and faculties through KULASIS, you must submit an application to the C-cluster Office. In this case, please add the application form signed by the supervisor to the PDF file to be submitted. The deadline for submitting the application (October 4) is earlier than the deadline for submitting the portfolio, so please scan the PDF file before submitting the application to the C-cluster office.

Notes:

  1. The subject line of the e-mail must be written as follows; Student ID number (half-size 10-digit number)+student’s department (Department of Civil and Earth Resources Engineering→CE or Department of Urban Management→UM ※use half-size characters)+student’s name
    (Example) 1234567890CE TaroYamada
  2. When you submit the PDF file, please send it to your supervisors (including sub-supervisors) as Cc.
  3. Be sure to have an appropriate file size. The preferred file size is around 100 kb.
  4. File name must be written as follows; “Student ID number + Student's department + Student's name + .pdf"
