Submission of Portfolio in April 2022 (for Doctor's program)

Fill up a portfolio through consulting with your supervisor, and then submit it to meet deadline.

Note that the deadline for students enrolling before October 2021 is different from that for students enrolling at April 2022.

This portfolio is for Advanced Engineering Course students (Portfolio for HSE is different).

Students newly enrolling at April 2022

  • Deadline: Tuesday, April 12, 2022, 17:00
  • Submission procedures:
    1. Download MS Word file of template of portfolio from the following link: Portfolio_form_doctor2022
    2. Fill in pages 1-3 and then print it. (write down your name in each page)
    3. Obtain supervisor and two sub-supervisors signatures on page 3. If it is difficult to obtain a handwritten signature from the sub-supervisors due to the effects of COVID-19, it is allowed to type the names of the sub-supervisors after the sub-supervisors have confirmed the contents. Please ask your supervisor to sign and submit the PDF file to the address (kyomu-ceum@adm.t.kyoto-u.ac.jp). In addition, the typed names of the sub-supervisors should be replaced with their handwritten signatures at the submission of the final version.
    4. Print out your class timetable on the course registration from KULASIS, and then obtain supervisor signature or seal on it.
    5. Scan pages 1-3 of portfolio and the class timetable, then make one PDF file and send it as an attached file to the e-mail address below. Students who applied the classes offered by the other graduate schools and faculties must add the application form signed by supervisor to the PDF file to be submitted.
    6. Keep your original copy of printed portfolio in a safe place. (Students must submit the original portfolio after the end of 6th semester in the 3rd Year.)

Students enrolling before October 2021

  • Deadline: Friday, April 15, 2022, 17:00
  • Submission procedures:
    1. Use the template of portfolio you already downloaded.
    2. Fill in designated pages and then print it (write down your name on each page).
    3. Obtain supervisor and two sub-supervisors signatures on applicable page. If it is difficult to obtain a handwritten signature from the sub-supervisors due to the effects of COVID-19, it is allowed to type the names of the sub-supervisors after the sub-supervisors have confirmed the contents. Please ask your supervisor to sign and submit the PDF file to the address (kyomu-ceum@adm.t.kyoto-u.ac.jp). In addition, the typed names of the sub-supervisors should be replaced with their handwritten signatures at the submission of the final version.
    4. Print out your class timetable on the course registration from KULASIS, and then obtain supervisor signature or seal on it.
    5. Scan the pertinent pages of portfolio and the class timetable, then make one PDF file and send it as an attached file to the e-mail address below. Students who applied the classes offered by the other graduate schools and faculties must add the application form signed by supervisor to the PDF file to be submitted.
    6. Keep your original copy of printed portfolio in a safe place. (Students must submit the original portfolio after the end of 6th semester in the 3rd Year.)

Notes:

  1. Subject line of e-mail must be written as follows; Student ID number (half-size 10-degit number)+student’s department (Department of Civil and Earth Resources Engineering→CE or Departmentof Urban Management→UM ※use half-size characters)+student’s name
    (Example) 1234567890CE TaroYamada
  2. When students send a PDF file, they must also send the e-mail to their supervisors including sub-supervisors with CC.
  3. Be sure to have an appropriate file size. Preferred file size is around 100 kb.
  4. File name must be written as follows; “Student ID number + Student's department + Student's name + .pdf"
