Research Topics
Main research interests include: 1. Development of novel meshfree methods for computational fracture mechanics. 2. Multiphysics modeling of fracture in geomaterials, such as fluid-driven fracture, thermal fractures, and coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical behavior. 3. Development of numerical methods for modeling multiscale behavior of granular materials, including grain breakage, particle shape and size evolution.
